Data we collect

Through the booking form we collect: first and last name, email, phone number, requested date and time, number of guests and any notes (e.g. allergies). We also keep a hashed (encrypted) version of the IP address for security and abuse-prevention purposes.

Purposes and legal basis

• Managing the booking request and contacting you for confirmation — legal basis: pre-contractual and contractual measures (Art. 6.1.b GDPR) and consent (Art. 6.1.a) given when submitting the form.
• Site security and abuse prevention — legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f).

Retention

Booking data is kept for as long as necessary to provide the service and in any case no longer than 12 months, after which it is deleted or anonymised. Security logs are kept for a maximum of 90 days.

Recipients

Data is processed by the restaurant's staff and by the hosting and email provider (Keliweb, servers in the EU), acting as data processor. It is never disclosed or sold to third parties.

Your rights

You may exercise at any time your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability (Art. 15–22 GDPR) by writing to info@ristoranteatena.it. You can cancel a booking yourself via the link in the confirmation email. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it).
